A serene location with loads of fun!
Located in charming Medina, Ohio, and one of Griffith’s Lake and Lodge most defining feature is our beautiful 3-acre Lake and rustically renovated 2,500 square foot Lakehouse. The Lake has everything you need for a day of fun in the sun or a day of rest!
Get thrown off an inner tube, be refreshed by our quiet and secluded watering hole, or go fishing. The Lake can be your adventure or your repose.
How will you spend your sunny, summer days? Schedule a visit today!
Peaceful: Surrounded by woods, the Lake is a shelter from the constant noise of everyday life. And it’s private, so you can relax undisturbed. It also has a manicured, 35’ x 25’ beach–perfect for tanning, reading, and building sandcastles. While relaxing, you may even see the Great Blue Heron stalk his favorite fishing spot on the other side of the lake!
Convenient: The lake is near our rustic Lakehouse–so a grill, fire-pit, and, of course, restrooms (indoor and porta-potties) are onsite.
Safe: Man-made over a half-century ago, the Lake is kept clean by a spillway. (We do not use any chemicals whatsoever.) It’s sanitary, calm, and family-friendly. In the middle, the Lake reaches a depth of 25′. Note: life jackets are required for all activities on the Lake.
Out of the Water: If the water starts to wear you out, you can play sand volleyball on our regulation-sized court or explore the 1.5+ mile trails that wrap around the Lake and wind through the woods. Bring your hiking boots!
Need more space to host an event? Not a problem. We have multiple tents to rent (50 x 75′, 15 x 15, and 15 x 15).
It’s the perfect place for:
- Graduation parties
- Church picnics
- Corporate retreats
- Family reunions
- Weekend getaways
- Fundraising lunches and dinners
- And more!
